I had to work, and having all the views it was never like I was missing out.
The location is ideal, the older kids would walk over to Pier Park and spend the day.
Calypso is really the best of all worlds with something for the whole family.

"This was our first time taking our children to PCB. It was the first time in 25 years for my husband and I to visit. Our host was very responsive and very helpful anytime we needed something. The location was great!! We took our teens and some of their friends. It was a family atmosphere and we felt safe enough to let our teens venture some on their own without having to worry. They loved being within walking distance to Pier Park. The condo was exactly what we needed. We had plenty of space and anything we needed. We will definitely try staying here again."

My family consisted of five of us, myself and my cousin, my daughter and her boyfriend, early 20’s and my 14 year old daughter. Each of us had a ball!!! Everyone could come and go as they pleased. "Beautiful place - We were very happy with warren beach rentals. Everything was just as they said. No hidden costs. Calypso resort was nice. The corner room was just as they said. Calypso resort could do a better job. The fire alarm went off four times in the 9 days we were there. Twice at 4:00 am. Good thing we were on the second floor so we didn’t have to walk down all the stairs to evacuate. The garage parking locked me out cause the scan said my car was already in there when it wasn’t. Good thing it was during the day when the security guard let me in. Also the units air conditioning whistled a lot. Minor things overall for a nice resort."

Now for the pool area- The pool area is minimal - there are never enough chairs poolside. Also, there is only 1 poolside table!
Keep in mind if you want or need a break from the sun there are NO umbrella tables! However, the west side pool area stays shaded until midday. You got the beach, the pier for fishing and sight seeing, several restaurants at pier par as well as movies, shopping, and a few carnival style rides for the little ones. This was our 11th stay at Calypso and it's always a great experience. We have also used Warren beach rentals on several of these stays without any issues and we got to check in an hour early this time which is not to be expected but we called and the condo was ready and the freindly lady said we were good to go. 👍"

Dishwasher did not work despite running it twice, but I sent an email to management so hopefully that gets fixed soon for future guests. (No biggie for us to hand wash). "Dream Vacation - This unit was exactly what we had hoped for. The condo beautifully accommodated our family of six. The views of the gulf are amazing. We sat on the balcony and watched fireworks!! Being able to walk everywhere was important to us especially with teenagers. Little touches in the condo were appreciated such as smart tvs and decent blow dryers. I was shocked at the ease of parking/check in. Thank you for responding so quickly after we alerted you to the vacume not working. We had a brand new vacume in hours! We also appreciated the lounge chairs on the beach. Too much to list. One of our best vacations!!!! Thank you

The only thing not provided were sheets for the sofa bed, so we had to go to the store and purchase a set. Since the condo is advertised as having a sofa bed, I assumed there would be sheets for it."

The pier is right next to the calypso it makes a nice walk during the day you can watch the fisherman and the sea turtles and at the same time take in the Beautiful views of the Gulf. "Perfect View, Perfect Location, Perfect Accommodations! - Our family had a wonderful vacation staying at Calypso. We were steps from the pools and the pier park shops and restaurants. Since we were on the second floor the magnificent beach was just a whisper from the balcony and that's where we had breakfast and cocktails daily. The sunsets were breathtaking. The condo was spotless and well appointed with everything we needed to create several meals when we were too tired to go out after a day at the beach. Smart TV's in every room made it easy to have privacy for two couples and two kids. Lots of hot water and three full bathrooms made it great for everyone. This was a thousand times better and more luxurious than staying in a hotel. Can't wait to come back.

"completey blown away.. this place is spectacular - This condo is just like having a beachfront home. Great views, everything in the unit looks brand new, the owner had just painted, put in new flooring and new TV. The views are just amazing, and you could not have a better view anywhere.
Mitch was great to work with, patient with us and answered a ton of questions we had on where to go and what to do, even set us up with his son to show us some property.
We did have one thing we forgot at home, Mitchs staff had an extra and brought it right over at no charge.

"A Wonderful Weekend at the Beach - It is my joy to write a review for Mitch and his incredible vacation home in PC. Our story begins as my wife and I took a few days to unwind and celebrate my birthday at the beach. We had previously used VRBO | Home Away to find a vacation rental and after a wonderful experience decided to trust them again. Soon we found ourselves browsing beautiful rentals and reading the helpful information provided on each property we were we might be interested in vacationing. After selecting a beautiful condo on the second floor at Calypso Resort on Panama City Beach , I emailed the owner and soon we would be on our way to the white sands of Florida. Arriving at the Calypso we found everything just as Mitch had described it. Parking was easy, covered and secure. It was just a short walk across the enclosed walkway to the building and a quick ride down the elevator to the 2nd floor. The property was beautifully decorated and we found it just as viewed in the photos on the site. Everything was clean and the property was well-well maintained. The kitchen was well appropriated, a washer and dryer were provided, the seating was comfortable and my wife and I rested well in master bedroom. The atmosphere was relaxing and exactly as expected. The view from the balcony was incredible and we often found ourselves relaxing comfortably, drinking coffee or a glass of wine, listening to the waves roll in and drifting away from the cares of home and work. The pier is just to the right of the property and easily in view. The location is equally amazing. Pier Park is a short walk away and is home to outstanding shopping, restaurants and a movie theater. While in PC I always recommend Captain Anderson’s for a delicious seafood dinner. My wife and I also took the short drive down 30A, home to outstanding restaurants and residences. For those not familiar with the area I recommend stops at Rosemary Beach and Seaside. Again, thanks Mitch for allowing us to become a part of your Calypso family. We will be back soon.

"5 Star Condo - This was my second time staying in this condo and won't be my last. I consider it my sanctuary. Earlier this year we had a 10 year reunion with several of my friends from my university days here. My friends from NYC to CA enjoyed the views, beach and being so close to everything. "Beautiful condo. - I have stayed numerous times at Calypso and this is the absolute best of the best. The furniture is all very nice and clean. The beds in every bedroom were very comfortable. The floors were immaculate and walls were freshly painted. Even the balcony furniture was so nice to sit and enjoy those gorgeous views of ocean and bright white sand. The second floor was the best floor for convenience. I had tried numerous times to reserve this condo and it was always taken so I made it 7 months early and got it. "Fantastic Christmas trip - My family went to Panama City Beach for a quick after Christmas vacation. Upon arrival we were very pleased with both the condo itself and the excellent location. The condo was clean and very nicely furnished and had a view of one of the pools. Loved all the windows with it being a corner unit. The corner location is also very convenient to the stairs and trash chute. Split floor plan allows you to have kids on one side of the condo and adults on the other if that is what you prefer. Location is unbeatable, we barely drove anywhere while we were there even in the rain. So much shopping within walking distance including Pier Park both Target and WalMart and many restaurants (We would recommend Dustys for the Oysters) We walked to the Aquarium as well and out on the pier. Lots to do in this area even in December!"

"most amazing condo... new furniture. just feels brand new - just got back from my stay at this unit. I cant begin to describe how nice the unit looks in person. bright and cheerful, so tasteful. the place looks and even smells new. the building was just painted front and back and looks like a four seasons resort. "Fabulous Family Find! - My family and I just returned from this resort and absolutely loved this condo! The location is perfect especially in proximity to Pier Park and other local activities that were just a short walk away. Having small kids was no problem either since we were just one floor up from both the pool and the beach. We will definitely be back next year (hopefully for more than just one week)!!"

"Home Away From Home! - Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Mitch, for providing our family with a beautiful condo during our wonderful vacation! It was obvious to us that you take pride in this property and your expectation for this property is nothing less than the best. The interior is well decorated and well kept. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The location of the Calypso is simply the best for all ages! This end unit is absolutely perfect! The second floor is a fantastic location, as we didn't have to worry about waiting for an elevator (unless we chose to do so) for either the ground floor, or the parking deck! One flight of stairs, either way, took us to our destination. Our family vacationed over the July 4th holiday and let me tell you, we had the BEST seats in the "house" for watching the fireworks! Mitch, you are a wonderful-hands-on owner, fabulous to work with and we look forward to booking with you again very soon! Thank you for everything!"

"Family vacation - We had a wonderful vacation again this year!!! This was our 3rd year in a roll staying in this condo. Beautifully decorated & very clean as always.. We love the beautiful view & being right next to pier park where all the nice shoppes are within walking distance. The owner Mitch is always a pleasure! Wish I could give it 6 stars instead of the 5. "Family Spring Break Vacation - Our vacation was wonderful! We loved the condo. The condo was very clean, and it had a terrific view. I have a small child, and the second floor was really convenient to the pool area. This was my teenage son's Spring Break. He and his friends had a great time, and they enjoyed being so close to Pier Park. We will definitely book this condo again!"

"Cute, Clean and Convenient. - We had a girls week/weekend, 6 of us stayed in the 3 bedroom 3 bath condo perfectly. The balcony looking out to the gulf was great with spectacular sunsets. The 2nd floor was convenient and the unit was nice and clean with everything we needed. Pier Park with the restaurants and shops right across the street was really great - we had a fantastic time. Thanks for everything."

"Outstanding - First of all the owner - Mitch - is great to work with - Thank you. We found the unit to be very clean with an outstanding view. Liked the lower floor because we could avoid the elevator by taking the stairs. We only had to go one floor down the stairs to get to the the street to head to Pier Park. Beds are very comfortable and the unit is very well furnished. My only suggestion is to put a flat screen TV in the livingroom because I enjoy watching sports in the evening. Strongly recommend this unit or any unit that Mitch owns because he keeps them in tip top shape and is always investing money for improvements."

"Most convenient condos in PCB - Really nice and very clean. Great location within the tower as well. Next to stairs so down one flight and youre at the beach or across the street from Pier Park. I would recommend this unit and location if youre looking for a place to stay in PCB."

"Highly Recommend! - Fabulous unit--it was exactly as we had expected and ready for our arrival! Very clean and well maintained! We have stayed in this unit several times and it continues to be our favorite! The owner is always very helpful and is very thorough with the information he provides at the time of booking. Location is fantastic--second floor, easily take the stairs! Calypso is located across the street from Pier Park--great shopping! Thanks for another great visit!"

"Wonderful Thanksgiving! - Our family of four rented this condo during our Thanksgiving Break and had a terrific time. Mitch was very accommodating and easy to work with. Several extended family members stayed in other rentals in PC but gathered at our place "to visit" and were impressed with our condo. We cooked several meals there and found most of what we needed in the kitchen. My elderly parents joined us for a couple of nights and loved the rental. The weather was not great, but that is what you expect in late November. One day was stormy, and we had the treat of watching surfers near our place! Based on Mitch's recommendation, we ate at Mike's Diner several times - including Thanksgiving day. It was very good and reasonably priced. Another favorite of our's is Salty Sue's. We drove across the street to Pier Park for early "Black Friday sales" and had a lot of success. The location of the condo is a huge plus! It is close to everything, but not too busy at this time of year. We would definitely stay there again! "

"Memories!! - This was a wonderful location to share our love of the beach with 3 of our granddaughters. Twins age 18 months and their big sister who is 6. The second floor allowed for quick easy access to pool and beach areas and help Papa with his fear of heights. The 6 yr old loved walking on the pier and was beyond excited to see a shark being caught. The girls really enjoyed the build a bear activity. The property has been maintained well. Only issue which I reported to Joe was a smoke detector missing in bedroom. We all loved that shops, restaurants were all in walking distance. "

"Yearly Calypso Renters - The condo was fantastic for the New Year weekend! Great views and close to the ground to take the stairs out and walk to Pier Park. Plenty of linens and kitchen items for a group of six. We would definitely rent here again!"

"Great Condo- Great Location - This was our first vacation with our 8 month old son. We took both sets of grandparents for the trip. The condo worked great and had plenty of room for everyone. Everything in the condo was great! The facilities at the pool and beach were awesome. Being in walking distance to Pier Park was also a big advantage. All of the shopping and food that is needed for a vacation. We would like to thank Mitch for renting us the the condo and we plan to go back next year.

"Like coming back home - This was my second stay at 209W Calypso and it felt like home all over again! I had previously stayed in April and was excited to come back! This time there were 5 of us and plenty of room for ALL! In between my stays, I had taken a last minute trip and stayed down the road at Tidewater in a 3bdr/3ba corner unit and there was NO comparison. Mitch definitely has the market cornered on the best spot in PCB. Already looking forward to my trip next year! Mitch and staff were always helpful and responsive with any questions and the unit was fabulous and CLEAN! You will not get this type of quality if you rent directly through Calypso!"

"Fantastic Room With Amazing Views!!! - We absolutely LOVED this condo!!! The room was beautiful and very well kept!! The room was just as beautiful as shown in the photos!!! The views from every single window were breath taking!! My husband and I married the previous year on August 14th right out front of the Calypso and staying here again meant alot to us!! And we picked the perfect room to be in this year!! We could see out the window, the pier that as I used to "walk down the aisle"! Definitely a memorable and special trip!! Thank you Mr Mitch for sharing your condo with us!!! You made this years finding the perfect place to stay a breeze!! You were very helpful and always prompt in responding to any question I had! Good business man! I would recommend this room to all of my family and friends and we hope to stay in this exact one of the other one Mitch has at the Calypso!! Being right next door to Pier Park was perfect!!!! It rained a bit while we were there so we spent alot of time checking out the shops there!! Great place to shop and EAT!! I would recommend walking down to the pier the sights are beautiful!! We were able to see huge sea turtles and dolphins swimming!! Our kids loved it!! The restaurant next door to the pier was fantastic! Great food! We also love Sharkys, PineApple Willys, Back Porch, Dirty Dicks Crab House, and many more!!! You cant go wrong with food in Florida!! Again, thanks for everything Mitch and family and we hope to be back soon!!"

"Amazing Condo - I have stayed at Calyspo and PCB for years but NEVER in such a great place! All the conveniences of home but the grandeur of a resort. Perfect 2nd floor location. Great views and and immaculately kept condo. BEST condo in Calypso by far! Staying again in September and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else! This is The ONE!

"BEST Condo!! BEST Owner!! BEST Resort!! The ONLY place to stay in PCB!!! - I can't say enough about Mitch, his condo, and Calypso!! This was the best vacation we've ever taken!!! (By the way - the "Guest Comment Entered by Owner" with the name michael is word for word from an e-mail I sent Mitch. Sometimes you wonder if the owners embellish the comments. He didn't - that's exactly what I wrote.) It's hard to know where to start. The condo was beautiful! Exactly as pictured and so comfortable. I think someone else in another comment talked about the mattresses. They were fabulous! I haven't slept that well in 10 years. No joke! I have a bad back and every morning while there I woke up pain free. Slept in the King bed with my wife all week, but fell asleep in the spare bedroom watching a game one night. Same for that bed! I was so sound asleep that my daughter just slept in the master with my wife that night. The rest of the condo was fantastic! The view from the 11th floor was great. I thought it might be too high - but it wasn't. All we could hear were the soothing waves. Mitch was fantastic!! This was the first time we've rented from VRBO so I was a little nervous, and I told that to Mitch. He was so great! Some people I called really didn't answer my questions directly. Mitch did! He couldn't have been more accommodating and answered every question I had. This is the guy to rent from!!!! The beach? Man it was awesome!! This was our first time to the Florida Pan Handle and it is exactly as advertised - sugar white sand and emerald green waters. After a Michigan winter - you can't imagine how thrilled we were to be swimming in the Gulf and playing in the sand. It actually snowed in Michigan while were there and it was in the mid 80's in PCB. As far a Calypso goes - I don't know why you'd want to stay anywhere else. The resort itself is great! Clean and well maintained. The pools were very nice as well. The location is the primary reason. Right next to Pier Park - right next to it!! You don't ever have to get in your car!! Pier Park has everything you need - it's beautiful! Not only that - it's away from what can be the crazy end of PCB. PCB does have a little bit of reputation of being wild but don't let that scare you. That's 3 to 5 miles away going East. None of that here. This is a great family resort!! Exactly what we were looking for. Thanks again Mitch!! We will definitely be back!! Call Mitch - he will take care of you and make sure you have a wonderful vacation!"

"best place to rent at calypso. the owners bend over backwards to make your vacation great - Just got back from renting vrbo 81956 and 173240 from Mitch Warren. Mitch is undoubtedly the nicest guy you can deal with, absolutely bent over backwards for our family. We pestered him to death during the oil spill. He dealt with us in a very gracious, kind, and honest manner. We found this unit to be awesome. they really have put in high quality bedding, I gave up roughing it years ago. The mattresses are pure heaven. You can tell they take great pride in the unit, the walls were spotless, condo very clean, and the furniture new, just like Mitch said it would be. Mitch set us up with beach service, and even sent us a list of great places to eat, all of them great.
I just cant say enough about how well we were treated and how nice this condo is. You will NOT go wrong renting this unit. Best trip to pcb ever. "

"Great place to rent & great people to rent from!!! - I have rented places at the beach my entire life, but this is truly the best condo I've ever rented. Let me start with the owners; they truly care & are concerned that your time at their condo is perfect. They follow up prior to your arrival, they have a local contact who is very much hands on & everyone's attitude is; "how can we make your stay perfect"....
Now for the condo; not anywhere near your typical condo rental; best remark I can make; from the time we walked in the place it felt like "home"! It is decorated the way you'd want your home; warm, inviting, classy, but yet very comfortable. Truly the best mattress I've ever slept on & the moment I returned home started looking to purchase this mattress. The location is perfect; 11th floor near the end of the walkway, very very quiet & we arrived the last 2 days of biker week but were not disturbed by the noise. I am a very picky vacationer & there is not one thing I could have wished this condo had or anything else the owner could have done. They followed up when we returned to insure everything went the way we expected. Calypso, as a property is the nicest place on the beach & is located on the west side of PCB away from all the conjestion & only 25 minutes from Sandestin shopping.
I usually don't write reviews, but the owners, the condo, the positive attitude approach of everything left me no choice but to share; do yourself a favor if looking to rent; STAY HERE!"

"One of a Kind Vacation! - We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this beautiful unit! The condo was above and beyond what we were expecting, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need, the decor was beautiful, and the view was breathtaking! We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from our huge balcony and the close walk to Pier Park (tons of shopping and wonderful food!). Everything about our stay was spectacular, we would highly recommend this unit for your vacation!"
