Only thing I wish could have been different was to many people (crowded) during this peak season, which made beach access difficult. "Our stay at Destin Towers 1E was incredible. So easy and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Layout was spacious and very clean. Parking was convenient. The location was perfect - close to everything yet still quiet and relaxing. The pool and beach access is unbeatable - right there just outside the patio doors. The beaches up and down the Emerald Coast are a dream—pristine, powdery white sand that squeaks underfoot and clear turquoise waters that are truly mesmerizing. Destin Towers 1E was a great place to stay, especially if you want to spend a lot of time at the beach. We can’t wait to come back! Ps. There is a beach service that provides umbrella/chair setup for a fee. You can set up your own chairs, blankets, umbrellas (no tents/canopies) behind the beach service umbrellas. They start clearing out at 4pm and then you can set up wherever you want! The pool temperature felt a bit warmer than the gulf water and was great. Kids enjoyed it after they finished boogie boarding!"

"This is the one! - This unit was great! Easy access coming and going! Your very own covered parking spot, ground floor, keypad entry, spacious condo, nice area out your back door that gos directly to the pool, short easy walk to the beach. Perfect if you have children (or any age) to walk back and forth from your room to the beach! If you like sitting on your balcony watching the water then don't pick a ground floor condo. Just being able to walk back and forth to the beach with no elevators outweighed that for us. We had a little problem the first day with a leak due to a hard fast blowing rain that came in, I just notified the owner who notified maintenance and within 10 min the problem was fixed. Shaun was great to work with. The only negative I have to say has nothing to do with the condo itself but the beach chair rental group. They place their chairs & umbrellas almost at waters edge, 2-3 rows deep and you have to set your personal chairs/umbrellas behind them. This made it hard to get from your chair to the water. You just had to weave your way through. You also couldn't see your child in the water from your chair. We learned quickly to just set your chair in the water and leave all your other stuff sitting in the back. Thanks Shaun for a GREAT week!"

"Great location in middle of the action - We have stayed at this unit twice and plan to return. With two young children, we find the ground floor location to be of great convenience when considering access to the gulf and pool. The layout is perfect for our family, with two large bedrooms and an open living area/kitchen where we spend most of our time when in the unit. Eliminating waiting for and using the elevators adds an element of ease to virtually all parts of our trip - buying groceries, use of the outdoor grill, as well as other obvious comings and goings. The interior of the unit has been updated with granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a flat screen tv consistent with what you would find in a modern 4-star hotel. As indicated in the title, the location of the building itself is right in the middle of the action of Destin. For our family, this is a vacation where we spend a lot of time at the beach, but also exploring the trappings of a summer beach resort like Destin. This location offers one of the best vantage points for all such activities."
